Built using sketchings from antique Shaker furniture, this reproduction slant-top desk is intended to be a close match to its original. A few cubby holes were widened to accomodate modern sized stationary. The drawers and case in this handcrafted piece have dovetail joints. Exposed surfaces are hand-planed and sanded down with 400-grit sandpaper. Finish options are shellac, lacquer or hand-rubbed oil. Lead time is about one month.
