Several years ago, furniture-maker Tom Dewey was flipping through a 1950s magazine when he discovered this chair, described as "the world's most beautiful chair." According to Dewey, an exact replica of this piece is currently selling in Denmark for $3,000. Dewey adapted the design slightly for American tastes and needs, which includes a solid cherry frame, padded seat with high density foam, and legs that have a broader stance for taller, heavier Americans.
