18th century cabinetry was the inspiration for this Federal Wall Cupboard. The piece was built by hand at a small wood shop inside an old stone barn in Pennsylvania. The contemporary craftsman who made this piece used many of the same materials, tools and techniques that were used by Colonial craftsmen. Lumber is hand-planed and the dovetails are handcut and fitted. Shown here in locally-harvested solid walnut, the cupboard is also offered in mahogany, cherry and curly maple.
