When scholarly guests come calling, you can quickly hide your extra-wide plasma television inside this English-built cabinet. A motor inside the cabinet (operated by a remote control) raises and lowers the platform that holds your television. Designed and built by a firm that had already been in business for 60 years when television was first introduced (in 1939), the Rosewood cabinet is hand-carved with fluted columns and accented with gold gilting.
