Craggy oak trees on the front of this solid mahogany sideboard are carved by Terry Schmitt and the piece was designed and built by female woodworker Debey Zito. It's patterned after an original Greene and Greene piece, found in their Blacker house, an Arts and Crafts structure built in 1907. Joinery, sanding and the oil-rubbed finish are all done by hand. The 500 hours of labor devoted to making this sideboard are reflected in the piece's price -- $13,000.
