The Arch Reading Chair and matching ottoman was originally commissioned for a client who loved Cabernet wines, which explains the Cabernet grape carvings on the arms and back. Made with black walnut, this chair was designed and built by a woman woodsmith, who's been in this line of work for three decades. She says that working with her hands and creating things from wood is immensely satisfying.
