Dwarf case clocks, like this reproduction, were originally built for children's room. They have all the same pieces and parts as grandfather clocks, but on a smaller scale. According to the builder of these vertically-challenged clocks, they were popular in New England from about 1800-1825 and very few originals still exist. The model shown here is patterned after an original built by clockmaker Ruben Tower. Choose from mahogany (shown in photo), cherry, walnut or maple.
