Based on a 19th century Windsor settee design, this reproduction is handcrafted using traditional woodworking techniques and with a myriad of woods, all harvested from Northern Pennsylvania. The seat is made with 2" thick tulip poplar; the spindles are hickory; the legs and stretchers are sugar maple. Each chair is made one at a time, so custom sizes and heights are an option. The finish is a home brewed milk paint, intended to create the look of an original finish. Choose from red, mustard, salmon, green, black or a layering of different colors for a distressed (aged) look.
