Handcrafted at a small shop in Southeastern Pennsylvania, this reproduction Windsor writing chair represents about a week's work, according to the shop's owner. In the tradition of original Windsor chairs, joints are pegged for strength and the one-piece arm, made with hickory, is steam bent. The seat is made with 2" thick tulip poplar and the spindles (and arms) are hickory. The legs are fashioned from sugar maple. The paper and pencil drawer under the seat has dovetailed joints.
