Made with hand-woven Malaca rattan and solid mahogany legs, the original version of this chair was found at fancy clubs in Rangoon, East Java and Barbados in the early 1900s. The lumbar cushion is probably a little more comfortable than its ancestors. It's now made with down and fiber, covered in muslin or house fabric.
