Starting with raw materials, this wrought iron and wood four-poster bed is completely handcrafted onsite at a shop in Maine. Intended to last for generations, the wooden frame (and posts) are offered in cherry, oak, maple or birch. Heat is used to create the scrolls and unique shapes on the wrought iron headboard and footboard. The metal is hand painted and the wood is sanded and coated with a clear urethane.
