The lycra shade on these umbrella lamps probably won't stop raindrops, but it will reflect light on your task. The shade comes white, silver, black, purple,
or ice blue. The lamp is available in two tabletop versions as well as a floor model. Table top models have high/low dimmers, while the floor model has a full-range dimmer and takes up to a 100 watt bulb.
