Made from native trees in northern New York, this Adirondack sofa table has a solid oak top with an oil painting of a loon gracing its front. Handcrafted at a small family business in Plattsburgh, New York, the legs (small birch logs) were salvaged from trees felled by ice storms. Other accents (such as acorns and pinecones) were discovered during from the family's hikes through the forests. The rustic features of this piece are intended to replicate the "Great Camp Era," in which cabin furnishings were in harmony with surrounding forests.
