Back in the 1700s, secretaries were furniture (and occasionally people) that hoarded secret information. This Bonnet Top Secretary has a number of verticle files, cubby holes and handy drawers for organizing (and hiding) a mountain of paperwork. Intricately-carved fans hide behind the two tombstone doors on the upper cabinet. Candleslides support the solid wood drop-down desk top. This well-built secretary is offered in cherry, curly maple and mahogany.
