Patterned after the classic designs of 18th Century furniture maker Thomas Chippendale, this side chair has ball and claw feet with a ribbon splat on the back. Hand-built by a Pennsylvania craftsman, this piece is solid walnut and is also offered in cherry, maple and mahogany. The intricate hand-carvings, together with the pinned mortise and tenon construction and dovetail joints, help make this chair faithful to its historic origins.
