Chests: Simple Style |

The simple wooden knobs and inset drawers on this side chest are reminiscent of the Shaker style. According to the manufacturer, the solid cherry wood used in this piece was harvested in an environmentally sensitive way. Handcrafted in Vermont by a native New Englander, the drawers on this chest are solid wood (no plywood), dovetailed at all four corners and move on hardwood runners. Each part is hand-sanded and finished with a non-toxic oil.
