Ideal for the human bookworm, this revolving bookcase has 12 eight-inch wide compartments on its three shelves, or about eight linear feet of shelving. These small individual shelves eliminate the need for bookends. The turntable base spins on heavy-duty ball bearings which are rated for 1,000 pounds. For the handyperson, this piece is available as an unassembled and unfinished kit. Parts are pre-cut, pre-sanded and ready to be glued and screwed together. Shown in cherry, other wood choices are maple and red oak.
