Borrowing a number of stylistic elements from Greene and Greene designs, the Aurora Table Desk is handcrafted using Honduras Mahogany and ebony accents. Funtional ebony pegs on the table's top and sides together with modified finger joints on the drawer fronts highlight the old fashioned joinery. The wooden drawer pulls are made in the owner's shop in Washington state as are the solid maple drawer runners. This piece is finished with an oil based stain and catlyzed lacquer.
