The simple sturdiness and clean lines of the Mission Style was a reaction to Victorian excesses in both housing and furniture. The outlines of this Bow Arm Morris Chair reflect the new thought of the early 1900s, stressing function, simplicity and strength. Patterned after a 1910 design by Leopold Stickley (younger brother of Gustav), this chair's back has four adjustable positions and the frame is offered in white oak or black cherry. The furniture is hand built and finished in the USA.
